Your privacy matters to us. This policy explains what data Sleep Notes AI collects, how it is used, and your rights regarding that data.
Sleep Notes AI stores all of your journal entries, sleep statistics, dream emotions, and preferences locally on your iPhone using UserDefaults and on-device storage. This data never leaves your device unless you explicitly use a feature that requires a network request (see below).
When you use the voice recording feature, your audio is sent to OpenAI's Whisper API for transcription. By using this feature you agree to OpenAI's Privacy Policy. Audio is sent solely for transcription and is not stored by us. You can provide your own OpenAI API key in Settings to control your own usage.
Sleep Notes AI does not include any analytics SDKs, advertising networks, or third-party tracking frameworks. We do not collect crash reports, usage events, or any behavioural data.
Purchases are processed entirely by Apple via StoreKit. We do not receive or store your payment information. Subscription status is verified on-device through Apple's frameworks.
You can delete all data at any time from Settings → Delete All Data. This removes all entries and preferences from your device. Uninstalling the app also removes all locally stored data.
Sleep Notes AI is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect data from children.
We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version will always be available on this page.
